Ok guys, in my last post, I said my bearing shaft broke. When I took it apart today, it was'int the shaft, it was the flywheel. All the bolts were coming lose!!!! I remember reading a post about some guy that almost got his legs cut off by the flywheel, thank god i still got my legs. Anyways, now my clutch pedal feels really soft and when full boost kicks in at 3000, it starts slipping and it srings back very slowly. I'm not sure if it's the clutch or the tires. Sometimes you will see tire marks after 3rd gear when I feel the car floating. It's a ACt street disc. I'm curently running 10psi with downpipe. Anyone have the same problems? My clutch gripped great before running at 7 psi, before the flywheel incident. The clutch looked fine, could my pressure plate be jacked up?? It looks good too.

its possible that it is wheel sping depending on your tires and if you have a lsd or not

if the clutch is slipping the revs will go striaght up super fast and hardly gaining any speed until you let off the gas and let it catch back on.

You can't tell if its the tires or clutch slipping?

^ thats what I was thinking, they are distinctly different. wheelspin is hard to control fishtailing experiance with alot of cool things happening at once . Clutch slipping is a ghey feeling like your car cant accelerate.

I can pretty much tell you if you are flooring your car in 3rd and your questioning what it is, its your clutch, cuz I doubt at 10 psi you are breaking traction in 3rd from rolling on the throttle.

Don't you have to bleed the clutch lines when it's installed? Did you do this... It might explain softness.

Ok guys, it's wheel spin. I put my stock steelies on today and deflated them to 15 psi. Now it takes off like a bat out of hell when it grips. But it still slips!!!! It sucks. It does it from 2nd to 4th gear when full boost kicks in at 3000 rpm. By the way, i already bled my system. The clutch just gets worst. The pedal feels really really soft now and does'int wanna spring back. The clutch grips fine and the clutch pedal does'int pop back up and it's just very mushy, sometimes it even gets kinda stuck, any ideas?? Pedal travel has dramtically decreased too.

Have you checked the spring at the top of the pedal that helps it return to position?

Try bleeding it again some times it takes a while and if there is air in the system it will feel soft (but you probly allready knew that). Did the presure plate look good when you had it out? Friend of mine has a TSI talon and we put a new clutch in that and it the presure plate broke like 5 days later(bad batch from the company)and he lost two springs from it and he had no presure on his pedal.

get under the car and have someone press the clutch and see if the slave cylinder is doing its job correctly (pushing clutch fork with ease through full range of motion)
