i've got a 240SE, 5sp HB. and i've got 2 problems... and a issue.

1. clutch slipping. i've replaced the clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. rebuilt the master cylinder and put in a new slave cylinder. it's been a couple weeks since i put in the slave. it worked well for a week then it started slipping again. not nearly as bad as before though. the only thing i haven't replaced is the resevoir. does the cap HAVE to seal tight? would that cause my problem?

2. idle problems. sitting still, it's fine. @700RPM. but when i'm slowing down, with the clutch disengaged, it dogs really bad. sometimes dies. but once i get to a stop, it comes back up to 700 and runs fine. is it electrical or vacuum?

3. electrical. my blower (a/c thingy) works most of the time. most of the time it doesn't work when i first turn the car on, but it'll start up and work fine until i shut the car off and start up again. usually comes on after i hit a bump or something. i'm sure it's electrical, just not sure where to look for problems.

btw, this car is great although small for me. it's got 245000 miles and still runs strong. everything works great, even the cruise control. and it handles better than any car i've had.

If your already having electrical problems then your idle problem is most likely electrical.

1) For the clutch check the pedal adjustment there must be some free play in the pedal.

2) The idle i'm not really sure maybe clean the iacv and check the tps ( search for it )

3)For the ac you should check the ac relay. blue one in the driver side relay box. As the blower get's older it draws more power and that can kill the relay. Hope this helps
