I've got a very strange problem: my clutch slips horribly sometimes and not at all others. I'm almost sure it has to do with the temp/humidity, because it really only slips on super-hot, high-humidity days. Is this because it's a hydraulic system and therefore is prone to changes in temperature? We're talking a 20 degree range here (70 F - 90 F up in Portland, ME).

Anybody else having this experience? I've also had to adjust the pedal going into winter last year and into spring this year. It's getting to be a pain.

Had the exact problem that you're having. I even went so far as to buy a new clutch...and it slowly began to do the exact same thing....there's a trick to it...get it to where the clutch is slipping so bad that you can barley get it up the road, then adjust(or get a mechanic) to adjust it while it's still really hot - this will bring the free play down a good bit, but then the clutch doesn't slip anymore...mine hits great now..hope it works for you-
