hey everyone i have a clutch prob. Okay im crusin down the highway runnin 55mph in 4th gear @ 4krpm when my car just stops accelerating. I stop the gas but nothing, the revs don't even go up. some people say its my clutch some say its my ECU some say its the gear forks or something like that but im not sure. can any one tell me without me takin it to a shop to find out?? By the way its a 1990 240sx hatchback ka24e engine.

we'll get this moved to the propper section but you might want to clarify, is the tach going up? if the engine rpm is going up but the car speed isn't then it could be the clutch, if however your engine speed is not raising then you have a completely different problem having nothing to do with your transmission or clutch

no my rpm's don't move at all until i pull the clutch out again then it revs like normal but as soon as i put it back it feels like it slips and i gain no more speed my stick stays in the same spot like its in gear tho
