Hello, ive got a 1994 vert with an M/T swap. I need to replace the slave cylinder. I would like to know if anyone knows of a good place/company to buy one from.

I would like a NISMO slave cylinder but i cannot find any.

I would just get one from dealership and use stainless clutch line instead of stock rubber one. I've also heard that the part that has thick hard line(U shaped) can be removed. Someone told me that it's easy to bleed that way. Anyone knows about this?

I just searched Nismo catalog, but I couldn't find Nismo slave cylinder. Transmission parts are on total 6 pages, and I don't think Nismo makes slave cylinder.

you have to log into the site... look up 180sx or silvia... then look under engine and drivetrain.. you may have to scroll a few pages, but it's there... just remembered.. not sure if SR transmission and KA trans are the same.. I thought they were... if so the part is there .. looks like 130.00 before shipping... they are in Japan so it takes a little bit of time to get here, but not bad if you send it air freight.. ships to your door.. great bunch to deal with.. I'm doing an SR swap, so getting parts is a bit of a challenge, but they can get anything from nissan.. hope it helps..edit*.. try page three of engine and drivetrain..

Slave cylinder at Advance Auto or AutoZone. They are like $12 new, never had a problem.

there's no reason to get a nismo slave. It's a waste of money for the minimal benifit you might get.

And yes you can remove the line dampener and get that extra pedal feel you would have spent an extra $140 on.

A SS braided line won't run you much either, and stiffen pedal feel up just a hair more as well.

In short, just go with an OE replacement for your slave. The nismo one just doesn't warrant that much cost.

So, the part I was referring to is called line dampner? I got it. I won't use it when I do the conversion then.

My Nismo catalog is from 2002, so... Yeah, I would think OEM or replacement slave cylinder will work just fine.

This is line dampener. You can bend the hard line and should be able to connect directly to the soft line. There are bleed valves on the line dampener and also on the slave cylinder, so you can bleed from slave cylinder.
