2003 Pathfinder, didn't want to start (zero power to starter) checked the clutch pedal safety switch and it was dead. Being I'm not at all with knowledgeable with modern relays, senors and wiring I simply cut the two wires from the switch and twisted them to together and problem solved...for a while, some times this fix would send current to the starter and some times not? There is no switch available here. In Costa Rica any good mechanic/technician is pretty good with all makes of Japanese autos and he said that would be the first thing any one would do, seems logical but it is not, he said you have to go higher up in the wiring system to get the by pass done correctly, I did not see where he made a better connection, but there has never been a problem with needing to press the clutch pedal to start the car, but remember you can start the car with out engaging the clutch!
