On my 90, I have been having this issue off and on, more now than before: When trying to start, the lights dim as if there is a draw on the power, but the car does not crank, not even a click, as mostly associated with bad starter solenoids. Plus the starter is new and having the same exact problem. My first guess is the clutch safety switch behind the clutch pedal, since repeated pumps and key turns will sooner or later get it to crank and start right up. Has anyone had the same problem and had a good fix for it? Also, I have an aftermarket alarm with starter kill. Could the relay for starter kill in the alarm be acting up and not releasing the kill switch to cause this reaction? Any input is appreciated. Thanks for your time.
