Clutch replacement?

How much power can be lost on a badly worn clutch? My friends integ ls easily beat my car but i know the hp is the same and i have more torque, but my clutch slips so much i dont feel any pull in second gear.

You are losing alot of power that way. I had the same problem not long after I bought my car b/c it still had the original clutch at 93,000 miles. It would slip pretty bad when I'd shift to 2nd. I replaced mine with a Centerforce dual friction and installed a new flywheel. So, you may as well go ahead and replace it before it totally gives out on you!! If you keep slipping it that much, it will get glazed and start slipping under normal driving conditions.
