well... got transmission, clutch, and flywheel off of the 93 hatchback :ylsuper
now im starting to put it all back together, and im having a bit of trouble with the clutch release stuff.
i put a new throwout bearing on it. cleaned and greased up the parts, but now the little spring clips are givin me trouble. the manual shows that the one clip on the throwout bearing piece stays half on it and the other spring sorta clips on it (one thats attached to the release fork/arm) this is so hard with the parts on the input shaft, if i preassemble the clips move around and parts fall apart when manuvering em around. i dont get it, is it supposed to be assembled before it goes on the input shaft, or after?
anyone have a walkthrough on this, it just doesnt seem to be going on right, one time i almost had it, but the one clip popped off... im now wondering what the hell the FSM designer guys were smoking. and yea the other chiltons manual...doesnt help at all... what a ****in waste of 15 bucks.
this diagram is all i got to guide me, either im just too damn tired and cant think or this is actually confusing!
thanks eniety for the pic hosting.
