I have an 06z, recently I had a clutch installed and it rattles sometimes at a traffic light in neutral, any ideas what it is or how to stop it? Thanks

Normal with a LW flywheel, Its not really the clutch but rather the trans gears rattling because the Dual Mass flywheel is no longer dampning them.

It wont hurt anything and you will get use to it in time

Get used to it. Or just turn up your stereo.

Its normal, when I had my 06 350z it did it a little bit before I even got an aftermarket clutch/flywheel.

Does it occur as you are engaging the clutch, or do you hear when it when the clutch is disengaged?

Yeah it's because you have a light weight flywheel. They all chatter as far as I know. Mine, does. It is something you get used to.

But would it chatter if it isn't engaged at all? I thought clutch chatter only happened when the clutch was partially engaged due to worn out springs. I may be way off base here, just trying to understand why it would chatter out of gear
