i am a new member. this is my first post here. i am driving 89 s13. stock right now except the wheels and the brake. i need to change the clutch on it. because grinding sound is coming from it. the mechanic is saying i need a new clutch. i am thinking about putting in the after market clutch instead of the oem. what might be good options for me. i will be running ka for a while. its a daily driver and canyon fun car. thnx.

Maybe you should reconsider Running touge untill you learn a bit more.

Have you even searched for clutches yet? google is your friend.

My cars also 89 and stock. I went with a Spec stage II from Enjukuracing. Im happy with it so far. I just wish I would have bought a light weight flywheel at the same time.

on a stock engine, an uber clutch won't really do too much for you. stick to something that will offer smoother engagement and will hold for your application. With a stock motor, a stock clutch will hold fine.
