I was wondering out of "ACT, Exeedy sp?, Clutch Masters", which one is the better clutch? Thanks, I got a s14 with the ka24de.

I am nearly if not still at stock power, I have started on the exhaust but I have only got a muffler on there, still working on the header and hi-flo cat. And I have a cone filter with adapter for my intake thats it.

If your 240 is your daily driver then I would go with the clutchmaster stage 3 (fx300) it is still a racing clutch but is also still comfortable to drive when you get stuck in traffic, and it is the same price as the stage 2 clutchmaster. Stage 3 has like a 150 percent holding capacity over stock and I loved it on my first 95 240sx, and will soon be getting one installed on my new 95 s14 ka24de. My buddy had an ACT clutch on his and he would recommend it to anyone who wants to merely drive their car at the track. Average price for cluchmaster stage 3 is about $300.

Okay, what about the stage 1 from clutchmasters, they are on sale on ebay for $112, and so are the Exedy ones, have you heard anything about them.

a stage 1 is a good replacement clutch but won't last long if you start doing several performance upgrades with your car. I would just save a little bit longer and go for a stage 3 installed at your local import performance shop if you can't do it yourself. But if you just want a new clutch and don't have major plans for turbo, cams, or even nitrous, etc. then I would go for the stage 1. good luck with whatever you do though

I am putting down around 160 hp to the wheels and I put in a new spec stage 2 clutch. It's very nice and very streetable. I'd almost say the pedal feel is softer than stock but the gripping power is amazing. And if you ever decide to go turbo or nitrous you'll be able to handle it since this thing holds 300 lb-ft of torque. Go to enjukuracing.com, they have free shipping on them right now.
