Clutch Questions

Car: 92 240sx fastback, and a 98 Windstar

ok well the clutch just went out on my 92 240sx hatchback, i was wondering if some one could list all the parts that i will need to buy to change out the clutch my self

and also if anyone has any suggestions on a type of clutch or a company of clutch that i should lean to when i buy the clutch only problem is it has to be for something under like 300

any help or suggestions that anyone has would be helpful

Most clutch kits you buy will come with a clutch alignment tool, throwout bearing, and pilot bushing along with the clutch itself. Other than that, all you'll need are some wrenches and ratchets, a few jackstands and jack, and a torque wrench.

I would also advise you to have a friend help you. Pulling a transmission by yourself when the car is on jackstands can really be rough if you haven't done it before. It's always nice to have someone help you pull the transmission back and out.

You will also want to have the flywheel resurfaced, and you're going to need a bottle of brake fluid.
