this is my FIRST RWD Manual car and just had a couple questions. I want to pull the transmission and check the clutch on my CA18 motorset i bought, but if i do all this, and the clutch is in good condition, do i have to replace the throw out bearing, and pilot bearing? also, can i just replace the clutch disc if everything else is in "ok" condition? I dont have alot of money and need to get it on the road.. Thanks guys

You can replace and not replace whatever you want. Most people would replace all those parts while it's apart. It's a lot easier and those are all wear items, so they'll need to be replaced eventually anyway.

when you replace the clutch disk, you definately should get the flywheel resurfaced or just get a new one alltogether You might as well get a clutch kit and resurface your flywheel. Clutch kits usual come with everything you need including the pilot and the throwout bearing.

Pulling and reinstalling the transmission is a MAJOR PIA in this car. Either wait for the clutch to fail, or replace the clutch/pilot bearing/TO bearing when you pull the transmission. You will kick yourself when you have to pull it a second time 6 months later.
