clutch question

First of all, great forum you have here. Lots of great information.

My problem is this. When the car is cold and I try to take off it shakes like crazy. Once the car warms up it is fine. I have just purchased the car from a long time friend and kind of know the history of the car. About one year ago he had the transmission rebuilt, new clutch, p/p, throw out. Also new MC and slave. I read in a post about the clutch petal height and free play. I checked these and it seems to be in the ball park. This is a fairly new behavior and I think it is clutch related, but I can be wrong.

Any suggestions? TIA.
