Clutch Question

sorry if this has already been asked before buthow do I know if my clutch is on its way out???thank you.By the way its an 03

no the clutch isn't al the way to the floor but it sqeeks when I press the clutch in and it feels looser than usual

go to a transmission shop if u think somthing is wrong

Where is the squeeking comming from? The pedal or the actual clutch assembly? if it's comming from the pedal likely it's your master cylinder. if your clutch is softer than usual it may be that your master cylinder needs to be bled or you have developed a leak. Check the clutch fluid level, check the line and slave cylinder for leaks.

If you actual clutch were on it's way out you couldn't drive the car. The clutch would slip (rise in rpm and the car doesn't go anywhere).

a lot of slipping!....specially on uphills and funny smell after.
