ok so i bought a ca from a guy a while back and got a new clutch with it but he said something about it being for a ka24de and that i would have to grind on the bell housing to fit (havent even looked at bolt pattern for flywheel yet) its a brand new act set and i only paid 1300 for everything (uncut harness, radiator, maf,and a turbo with nearly 3mm of shaft play!) any help would be great also looking for an intercooler on the cheap let me know

I didn't think you needed to do any modifications to the bellhousing. I thought you just needed to move the bolt holes so it would line up with the flywheel. I'm not 100% sure on that but im sure someone else will know exactly what needs to be done.

pull the pin out of the flywheel that doesn't fit right...use some vice grips and pull it out. it will work fine on the remaining 2 pins:D

the pins are really only for alignment...the bolt holes still line up(and those are what really hold the pressure plate on)...as far as I know it works seeing as thats what Paul used on his ca19det ;)

so what about a CA Pressure plate w/ a KA clutch?? will that work or do you need to use both KA presure plate and clutch?
