Clutch question

what does it mean if every now and then i cant put my car into reverse. then if i let go of my clutch and press it down again it will drop into reverse easily.

nothing. its common. I guess its like the teeth in the trans don't meet up, but when you move the car an inch or two, it'll go into gear...I've had a few manual cars/trucks, and they all did it.
