i recently purchased a new "drift clutch" from illegal garage in san jose, ca. (if you havnt heard of it, its because the owner max is the only one who makes and sells them). anyways, i got the new clutch in, and i replaced the master cylinder and bled the system. i have my clutch dampener removed and adjusted the pedal to the maximum height (to get the maximum stroke from the MC piston) . but since ive had the clutch installed, getting the shifter into gears is alot harder, like the clutch might not be fully disengaged. ive never had an aftermarket clutch before, so i wouldnt know if this was normal or not. im worried that im causing premature wear on the clutch by driving it more. the clutch pedal catches pretty much right off the floor too... ive bled the system over and over and i know there is no air in it, are there any suggestions? maybe a slave/MC upgrade? or SS clutch line?

Try adjusting your clutch pedal... I think the set point is all the way in , which would explain why it deoesn't feel disengaged when you try to clutch in.

thanks, i will try that. but my thought was that adjusting the clutch pedal to all the way in give me a shorter stroke in the clutch master, thus pumping less hydrolic fluid to the slave to disengage the clutch? i know on the oem clutch i didnt have the rod set to maximum length, but i adjusted this one to compensate for the extra effort needed to move the clutch plate.
