hey guys, have a question.
89 coupe with ka24e 5spd (canadian)
i don't know what the symptom would be, but i'll let you guys be the judge. i think its the clutch itself.
here are the things i have done.-> replaced clutch master since the rod was leaking on the old one and bleed the lines and it engaged no problem.-> replaced clutch slave cylinder after having trouble getting into gear and bleed and it worked for a bit.
-> couldn't engage again, and this time, i adjusted the engagement point at the clutch master near the pedal. and its back to square one again.
about 2 weeks prior to this, clutch started to slip at 3000rpm and i got it home safely and i didn't drive it for a week and than started it up and it drove without slipping but i have the following problem, which is below.
the problem is that i can get it into gear smoothly when the car is off but once its on, its very hard to get into gear, i would have to somewhat force it in. once the car is in motion, i can press the clutch down and the revs would drop like normally, and i can somewhat up shift as well, but i tend to keep it at 3000 rpm to up shift to 2nd with no problem and again 3000 to 3rd and 4th and etc. they go in smoothly, sometimes i'll get a slight notch if i don't shift at 3000 rpm.
so my question would be, is my clutch going or do i still have air in the line.thanks in advance
