Alright, to all the fellas that answered my question in the post regarding the flywheel, THANKS~! Now on to other "tech" stuff. I've gone through a clutch swap, now I'm onto my second one. I was able to get to the top bolts on the transmission (the 2 top ones next to the firewall), but the first time I did it, I couldn't get as much torque onto the bolts for tightening. So I just stuck an open ended wrench and tightened it as much as I could (figuring I'd only make a maximum of 25 lbs/ft) and felt good about the transmission's security. My question is, how did the majority of the people on the board do it for their swap???? I've heard about the 4 foot extension and wrenching away from the differential's side, but I cant seem to find a store that sells extensions that long.

So, if you guys dont mind, whats the secret?

Also, I've noticed that the stock 240 I have right now seems to be quicker than the 240 I have that has a racing clutch. Could it be possible that the racing clutch is draining some power from it???? I'm pretty sure both engines are prime enough for racing (good condition), but the stock 240 has 147000 miles and the one with the racing clutch has 120000. So milage wouldn't be a contributing factor in this, so the only conclusion I can come up with is the cluthch.....

I've found that a wrench does the trick, at least for me when I did my engine swap in an S13.

altiman, gibbo, and i decided not to mess with altimans clutch when we took a close enough look at his transmission and found those bolts.

A bunch of extentions and a Snap-on u-joint socket.

For the one closest to the driver, I used a u-joint, the one closest to the passenger, i used a ratcheting wrench.
