Ok so my clutch has been slipping for a little while and like a dumba$$ i have still been driving it because its my only way of getting around. I bought a new act stage 2 clutch kit because of all the bad stuff i heard about spec though a few friends run em i figured id act a try. So long story short its getting worse and i didnt have time to install it at home where i have access to a lift and any tool i want pretty much. Also i have never done this before. So the current issue is that i have no time, tools, or space to attempt this (in college in Milwaukee). I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place to get this done and about how much it would cost. Or, if any of you think this could be done in a day and are willing to help/teach/supply tools and a garage and would like to make some quick cash, thats an option i am very willing to consider. Any help would be appreciated. Sorry i didnt search this yet but i am heading out right now and will have a few min later today durring the game (go bears!) Thanks for any help!

this is very easily a day job make sure to get your flywheel resurfaced and have a shop in mind first. your gonna wanna lower the cross member so the engine goes down to be able to get the bolts on the top. i would suggest getting a friend to help just to make the whole thing easier and if they have smaller hands they might be able to get the top bolts easier. and get a nissan clutch alignment tool they are like 3 dollars and you need it

The only shops around here that I know about usually only work on hondas. Your better off just doing it with a friend, it will be a learning experience and cheaper. Hit me up sometime so i can check out your car.

Ya thats the problem that i am running into. also that because its not an oem clutch, im sure some places will be a little weary. I heard maynerds (sp) does real good work so im going to check them out. I would love to do it myself, i mean ive done it before on my old mustang (65) but that was with the engine/trans out in a well lit garage with full air tools. However with 21 credit hours and lacrosse practices i cant really find the time or place to do it.

BTW, i dont have a phone right now (broke it friday) but I live on cass and state and go to MSOE. If you are plannin on being in the area skype me or something (nick_bruhn). Peace
