Let me just first apologize for the length of this thread, please don't hold it against me. I attempted a search and although many threads popped up on clutch problems I could not find one that related to mine. Most I viewd involved the clutch slipping or the bleeding of the system. So here's my problem I was driving yesterday, my car running perfect with no indication of a problem. I come to a stop for a school bus and i put the car in neutral to save my lazy *** some leg fatigue, when I go to take off again I depress the clutch and it gets sucked to the floor. The pedal just disappeared to the floor, the clutch is disengaged at this point, so I yank it out of gear and pull over. I investigate and the master cylinder is bone dry, I had some brake fluid in the back so I topped it off and pumped the pedal, there was still no pedal resistance of any kind and obviosly I was not able to bleed the system on the side of the road. Now, my question is what would have caued the system to lose all fluid so abrutly, if not a broken line then what ? There was no sign of fluid escaping, so I'll try to bleed it properly today and see what that yields. Although any help or insight would be much appreciated. Again, I apologize for the lengthy explanation I just want to cover all ground. On a more interesting note the wrecker driver was Australian and had his buddy along for that ride that was visiting from Australia, so we got into a good conversation about cars and this guy knew his stuff, his car collction spanned from Holden commodores, Vipers, corvettes, LS-6 Chevelles, Ford Lightnings, but most importantly several R32 GTR's. All I can say is badass!

You sprung a leak... I'd look towards the slave cylinder area.

right I also established that it was a leak after I posted that ridiculous thread, I'm sorry that you had to read it. I'll be under the car tomorrow and try to pinpoint it.
