check to see how much fluid is in your slave master cylinder - if you have no or low fluid, you have a leak somewhere. Could be a slave cylinder problem.

If you look for leaks and don't find any, you could try bleeding the clutch system - sometimes an air pocket will get stuck in the system and cause that problem, and it might also keep the clutch from engaging/disengaging.

You might also need a new clutch master cylinder depending upon where the leak is..... they're not too expensive i got mine for like 80 bucks

P.S. that pin behind the clutch pedal that connects it to the rod on the back of the master cylinder is an S.O.B. to get back in

First try bleeding your clutch slave cylinder (the unit on the bell housing of the transmission) If that doesn't work, From my experience the slave cylinder typically fails first..... They gum up with sludge if they are not physically leaking, you can use a brake hose clamping tool on the rubber clutch line and further diagnose your clutch master cylinder seal (but in some rare cases that can damage the hose, I have never damaged one even using needle nose vise grips)
