hey everyonei have a 1991 d21 hb kingcab i have the stock motor and transmission in itlately i have been having some problems with the clutch. as im driving about 50% of the time the clutch pedal wont come all the way up after i s*** into a gear. i know its a hydraulic clutch set up. i checked the fluid and that seems to be ok. but its been happening more and more lately. i checked all the lines they all seem to be in good shape i never went hard on the clutch or anything its a daily driver. if you have any ideas or know whats happening let me know asap

I'm not sure, but I wonder if the clutch damper is the cause.

It sounds like the slave cylinder. I bet if you replace it you won't have anymore problems.

IMO, I would flush the fluid out... refill, then bleed the line.. if its still sketchy then i would replace the slave cylinder.. but when i do either the master or slave cylinder, i do them both in pairs... so if you change the slave go ahead and do the master! you can also by pass the clutch dampener and get a nice crisp clutch feel! but the whole clutch pedal deal is most likely the inner seal in the slave cylinder failing! so id replace it.. but as previously stated... do the master too!
