Sounds like an issue with the pedal, not the internals.

Check for wear on the little connector hinge that attatches the clutch arm to the rod that goes through the firewall into the engine compartment. - It's just a little aluminum fork thing with a pin through it to hold it on... i had one break on me once and it made it so the pedal would not come all the way up, or go all the way down.

My 95 had the same exact problem I think. I found that there is a small plastic bushing that goes on the pin that holds the clutch pedal arm to the master cylinder that was totally trash on mine. I actually found a piece of nylon plastic tube that I modified to fit the pin. The hole through it is about 9/16 of an inch for a very snug fit and I just used a drill bit for that. The outside diameter I'm not sure of the exact size, but I but the bushing on a 9/16 inch metal shaft and put it in an electric drill and just slowly shaved it down until it fit quite snug. I then put on a little grease and put it all back together. I also blead the clutch at this time so I'm not for sure which fixed the problem, but it is way better now. Bleeding the clutch was way easy, too, so you could do both if you had time. Hope this helps.

is the squeak inside or outside the car? If it is outside check the clutch slave clyinder. my 90 did that sticking part. rebuilt the slave cylinder and have had no problems since.
