I replaced my clutch, master cylinder, and slave cylinder less than 20,000 miles ago. I bled the clutch, and adjusted the pedal height. Now my clutch is acting up again. I'm currently switching back to my OEM Master and Slave cylinders, but when I went to do that the fluid in the Master cylinder was almost black. It had some fine black powder/granular material in it. Any ideas to what this is, what might be causing it, or how to fix it? I'm lost. Thanks in advance for your help!

Im having the same problem, with the fluid turning black and getting that crap in there, except mine happens every couple of weeks as opposed to 20,000 miles, its really starting to piss me off as ive been through like 6 slave cylinders now, and 3 master cylinders. so any input would be greatly appreciated.

you have rubber coming apart somewhere in the system. not fun but replace the rubber hoses while they are off clean the steel lines with some brake clean and blow them out with compressed air then refill and bleed the system. once this is done you should not have that problem but you will still have residual in your slave and master unless you replace those again to.
