CLUTCH PROBLEMS

Today, I got my new clutch put in because it did'int go into gear when I stepped on the clutch. When I took off the transmission, it was missing every single bolt except for the one for the starter!!! Everything inside looked fine. I bolted back up the tansmission and only used an extra bolt I had just to get it working. It worked perfect untill about 5 miles down the road, it began to have the same problem, I can't shift it into gears. I think the transmission wiggled it's way loose enough to were the throwout bearing could not contact the pressure plate. Anybody agree or disagree?

I don't know whether to try to help you or ridicule you.

Do things correctly and it will make diagnosis easier. If you okie-rig anything, the question will always be "was it the part, or was it the crap work?"

The bolts were already missing when I bought the car, so the last owner did a crappy fix to get rid of it.
