my friend bought a 89' 240 and after about 2 hours of him driving the clutch went out so we replaced and the pressure plate (couldent change the throw out bearing cause we couldent get the rubber peice off) and the slave cylinder so after putting it back all togather we had no clutch so we bleed it.. after about 32 oz. of clutch fluid and about a dozen bleeding techniques we still dident have enough pressure to seperate the clutch, so were thinking next on the things to be replaced is the master cylinder. we have no leaks and everything is on tight and were pretty sure that we got all the air out of it. so if someone could help us out and point out something that we might be forgeting that would be great. and if you had this problem and fixed it if you could tell us how..thanks..

hmmm, the throw out bearing i dont think would be causing this, but ya, this thing is a pain in the arse...

do you know how to bleed a clutch? not dissen, just wondering. did you replace the slave cylinder? for some reason did you remove the master?

did you guys do anything diff. from the normal procedures?
