I recently starting having a problem with my clutch and I don't know how to fix or diagnose the problem...

My clutch "gives" all the way down until about 1/2" - 1" before the floor of my car. That is, there is no pressure when I press the clutch until right before it is supposed to be fully engaged. I have no idea why this occurred, because there was no gradual process. I got in the car this morning and that was happening. Because of this, I cannot put my car into any gear. It's kind of strange, when I try to push the gearshift into 1st when the clutch is pressed down, the car starts to move forward very slowly like it's trying to force itself into 1st gear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot.

check the clutch master for fluid. your slave is probably going bad (welcome to winter and hydrolics) and leaked the fluid out.

when replacing clutch hydrolics, it's generally best to change both the slave and master out.
