Hi,

I was about to take out the car from storage when I noticed the clutchpedal had no pressure.
If I try to pump it while the car is running it is absolutely no resistanse in the pedal. If the engine is off I can build up a very small pressure if I pump the pedal fast.

I thought first it was a air problem, atleast what it felt like. But when I bled the system, only fluids came out.
Can it be that it is a large airpocket that hadnt come to the bleed points?

I also checked the master and slave sylinders without seeing anything wrong and checked the fluid level.

Any tips what I should check? or bring with me.
Im going out there again tonight and would appriciate any tips so that I dont drive out there for nothing. (an hour each way >.<)

Most likely the master cylinder is gone. But check if there is any fluid leaking out of the slave when you pull the rubber dust boot off the end?

I checked yesterday and I couldnt see any fluid leaking.
Tho I was alone so I couldnt press the clutch while checking.

It was wet at the lowest point under the clutch, but seemed to be only water (for what I gather this is normal)

Is there a failsafe way to check the master sylinder or should I just replace it with an OEM or some other manufacturer to be safe the first time ?

did you belld at the niple ont he passanger fender? if not there si likely a hoge air pocket somewhere in between, if nto It could be a bad master, the fluid will just pass by the seal and back to the resivior, but it's recomended to replace the clutch and slave as a pair

I bled both places. I'll head out in a few mins to try again.
Hope I will get the car out today :)

It has been a looong and cold winter.
