clutch problem?

Alright for the last 2 weeks my car in 3rd wouldn't pull very hard like it should (s13 blacktop). felt like the clutch was slipping but no burnt smell and i do know wat is smells like. Well i decided to adjust the clutch pedal to see if that would help with the car. it would not go into gear but off it would if u started in gear the car would lunge and stall. adjusted it back now it fells like the butt of the car is hopping around like the struts are blown and the the drive shaft is slapping the bottom of the car

it will not get power to the ground without some drive shaft hitting the bottom of the car and the clutch slipping weridness

Soo.. you adjusted the pedal too low and you couldn't put it in gear.You adjusted it back and now you can get it in gear.And now it feels like the driveshaft is hitting the bottom of the car?

Whens the last time the clutch was changed? How many miles? Do you feel the clutch slip in hard engaugements or high gears?

clutch may have 10000 miles at most. the mystery thing about going into gear has happened more than once this is like the 3rd times it has done than but it always fixes itself after a few minutes. after like 5 minutes it went into gear now the whole car shakes when in gear and riding down the road the car is bouncing it fells like its not getting power to the ground and hopping all around give it more gas the clutch slips

I had the same problem well still do, but I don't really care as the ka is coming out soon, but anyway I adjusted the pedal like you did got it to grab really high cause I couldn't get it in gear. Didn't like it so I moved it down a little to where it felt good.

Few days later had the same problem where it wouldn't go in gear. Ended up that the slave cylinder was leaking. Look under the car see if theres any liquid around the slave it might be leaking causing the pedal to drop

You havn't taken the driveshaft out correct?

that is wat i though . well i do know my old drive shaft is wore slap out and needs to be changed so maybe it was grabbing and the drive shaft was getting violently shaken and hitting the under side of the car because the clutch was grabbing and letting go so i'll bleed the system and see if that helps and no i haven't taken it out since the swap a year ago

Oh okay I was gonna say maybe you didn't put it back in the same way it came out putting it out of phase, but if the problem just started it's probably not that.I don't know what else to tell ya, if the clutch is slipping the clutch is probably shot.Did you replace it when you did the swap?

yeah i did only 10000 miles on it at most

i lifted the car on jacks to day and spun the drive shaft it spun fine and so did the diff and wheels so problem is transmission related wat really sucks is i pulled a very good oem out of the motor when i got it and my friend threw it away i guess and my old ka24e was sold with out my permisson by a friend of mine that i told had to paint my car to have it and never did. i also told him he could not have it unless he painted it and he knew better and he sold my spare transmission so i'm f'ed from every direction
