Clutch problem?

Hey everyone, i've just purchased an s13 with a redtop and i'm having some issues with what I believe to be the clutch. The clutch is a 6puck unsprung and I was able to drive it home fine. However when going to drive it around the next day I found I could not put the car into reverse while the car was running. I turned off the car and was able to put the car into the reverse gear with no problem. When I started the car with the gear in revers the car jumped and stalled. I'm also now noticing that the cars other gears do the exact same thing..

In a nuthsell: I'm able to put the car in gear fine when its not running. But when the car is running I can't put the car into gear without it wanting to grind. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for the help.

I also have the same problem. I have a 1990 240sx with a 5.0 swap in, just bought it about 2 weeks ago. It ran perfectly fine until the shifter started to grind into reverse and didnt want to go into gear. When i turn off the car it shifts into each gear except for reverse. Yet when the car is running it will not shift into any gear, but will grind into reverse then stall.

I had a similar problem.. just check to see if the bolts for the transmition are all tight and in place...what might be happening is the bolts came out and instead of the cluth disengaging its pushing the transmition out of place...

let me know whats happens then
