I have the same issue. Stock spec clutch kit and throwout bearing. The clutch can be pushed in with hand tools but the slave won't push it in far enough. I've tried bleeding many times with help but it gets only a very small amount of pressure on pedal, about 4 inches raised from the floor. Both master and slaved are cleaned and checked to perform right. The boot on the slave is also clean and tied down well.I still can't make the slave push the clutch in. Should I bypass the joint where line from master goes and a line comes back to slave?

Thanks

I think it's called Clutch Damper, something that works between master and slave. I'm trying to see it I can bypass it but the thing (line from master) won't come off.P.S. I think I'll just pull out the entire master line from the old car along with old damper. Everything from the new body doesn't seem to work. >.<

dump the damper loop. it makes bleeding the clutch a dismal affair.

Pulled off the old Master line from the old car and bent it it multiple places instead of 180' at a single point and put it directly into slave. Now the clutch bled completely in 4 tries and feels like a sport clutch. Thanks
