I just bought a 240sx and the only problem with it so far is that the clutch does not seem to work, When I push it down it is very hard and does not engage. It seems to be stuck no matter what gear I put it on a floor it the car does not move. Is there any other thing that could be wrong with it besides the slave cylinder?

please explain more.. Is the clutch pedal sticking to the floor and not coming back up? Or is it fine and you just can't seem to get into any gears???

If the pedal drops to the floor, check the resevuoir and bleed it again. If you can't seem to get it into gear, then it just might be the throwout bearing or clutch itself. When I had a similar problem, two of the springs broke from the stree of the heat and had some fun with the surface of the flywheel.

Clutch flex hose.. its cheep to replace and it can collapse just like a brake line. I had same problem and that was the solution. Hopefully it is the same for you
