i just replaced the clutch on my 95 240. i replaced the t/o bearing, pilot bushing, resurfaced the flywheel new pressure plate and disk. i ut everything back in and my clutch doesnt feel the same. the clutch is a whole lot softer than what it was before i put it in. the car still drives though. I then bled the clutch and no change. so i figured it might be the slave cylinder, so i replaced that and bled it again. no difference.

please help. this is my daily driver and i cant afford another car.

thanks in advance,chris

Welcome to NICO Chris.

What kind of clutch kit did you get? I have experianced the key value nissan clutch kits being inhearently softer then the original factory clutch due to a softer pressure plate spring. Is it possible thats what your feeling? If it is not then did you properly torque the pressure plate down?

the clutch is from autozone, i think the manufacturer is FENCO. I dont think the pressure plate is the prob. i was wondering if t master cylinder might be the problem.

You say you didnt have the problem prior to doing the job, The master cyl was there prior and you did nothing to it, I am thinking the problem is directly related to the parts you installed or the installation process itself.
