I can't shift into gear what so ever, and when my clutch is pressed down it doesn't want to pop out. The only way to get my car in gear is to shut it off and put it in gear, and then start the car, but then the car will start moving even with the clutch all the down.

What is going on? It might be the master slave cylinder, but before replacing any parts is there anything else I can do other then bleeding the clutch to try to fix it?

I just said something like this for someome else post as well, does everyone's car break at once, lol? It could also be that the clutch pedal is misaligned. I have ridden cycles with misaligned clutches and some jerk and start moving as soon as you put it in gear, and others don't move until the clutch is nearly all the way out. Also, my friend just test drove a 240 that had a clutch that you could only shift when you held it 2-3" off the floor. if you depressed it all the way it wouldn't go.

Thanks guys, but it was actually my slave cylinder, the little rubber boot on it was torn, so a bunch of fluid would come out when I pressed down on the clutch.

I'm trying replace the slave cylinder right now, but I ran into a bit of problem.. The first bolt on the slave cylinder came off fine but the other bolt got stripped when I was using the socket wench. What should I do? I already tried spraying WD40 on it, and it doesn't work, tried using a vise-grip and it just stripped it more.. wth... Any suggestions? Help....

try getting some penetrating fluid and really coat the bolt in it and let it soak in for a while, maybe tap it with a hammer to help knock it loose. I have had luck with stripped bolts using those plier wrenches (forget the technical name) that the harder you turn the tighter it grabs the bolt. You might also try those socket heads that are specifically designed to remove bolts with stipped heads.

I am still having problems with my clutch, after replacing everything and trying to bleed the stock setup, so finally I decided to modify it so it is just connected from the master to the slave cylinder instead of going through the damper box. After the modification I tried to bleed the clutch again, but there still isn't any pressure building up. I checked for leak and tighted the hoses more, tried bumping again still nothing. So what do you guys think is wrong??
