ok i bought my 240 with what seemed to be a slipping clutch ..... but i just put in a new clutch (exedy organic) and swapped in a sr transmission my friend had from a previous swap... and it still feels like its slipping but theres a brand new clutch in there , could there be some kind of leak in the slave cylinder or its just not working correctly? like its not clamping with enough force? cause you can definatly tell its slipping under normal driving......... what do you guys think?? i know i put it on clean without touching the surface...... its slowwwww help me!

thanks

possibilities? I'm of course assuming you've an SR if you're using an SR transmission. The KA and SR's bell housings are different and if you're using an SR transmission on a KA engine...I dunno if that'd work although the internals of the transmission are the same.

1. you probably have to break in the new clutch2. if you've got a leak, you should see it. either that or have a friend down below while you press the clutch (car off) and ask him if he sees any moist spots or sees fluid gushing or something.3. Possible air in the system?4. enough fluid in the master?
