Clutch Problem...Pls help!

I'm new to the whole working on cars thing, but I'm trying to learn. I just bought a 1989 240sx with a 5.0 swap. It has been driving well for the past 3 weeks, until a couple days ago while putting it into reverse it grinded then slipped into gear and stalled. Ever since I cannot shift into 1st-5th while the car is on, and i can shift into reverse while the car is running but it will grind badly then stall. I can shift into all gears while the car is off except reverse. Please help! Thank You!

Sounds like your clutch isn't disengaging. Check your master cylider and slave cylinder and make sure they are working properly.

one possibility is that the bolts on the transmition might have come undone...check the transmition see if the bolts are in place
