ok as usual, im cruising....the typical burning out of intersections, drifting while doing turns from the stop sign, ok, so jus leaving out of the best buy parking lot, i decide to do one of those again, not thinking, i do it and all of a sudden i hear...the SQUEEKAGE ,every time i press down on the clutch, its making the horrid noise, which hurts a 240 owner as if cutting his own limb, so i asked family members *also mechanics* and they said it would probably be the clutch, OR the belts...so question is, is it the clutch or the belts, if possible, help pls, thanks

maybe if u didnt drift at every corner it wouldnt have gone bad. its probably not the belt if it only happens when u press the clutch. is it just the pedal that squeeks cuz thats common.

Throwout bearing and/or pressure plate is toast. Don't do so much "drifting" corner to corner next time...
