i have a 1991 240sx. i repalced the clutch fork pivot today, and also got rid of the damper box. bleeding went fine. now i put 2.5 quarts of trans fluid in. made sure every thing was good and tight. put it back together and drove her. the clutch pedal is catching right at the top. , i cant shift fast at all, it seems like a realy long throw to go into reverse, and it sorta feels like a grind in second and third. and the pedal is to soft. i have no idea wat the problem is. I put a used slave cylinder on there. it does not feel right.

Sounds like the slave cylinder maybe on its last leg. Check the operation, look under at it while someone operates the pedal. Why did you put a used one on, there are not that expensive.

i needed to get the car back into operation within like 12 hours, this was done all between 10 pm through, 3 am, so it was a pain. but i had the slave laying around, im gunna try to replace it today see if it makes a difference
