While I was driving home after work today, my clutch wouldn't spring back up while driving. I had to manually pull it backup with my toes. I was wondering if other people had experienced this same problem. I read around that Nissan cars are actually known for this problem. I hope it is just a one time problem. I hate going to the dealership.

I'm a nissan master tech, in southern wisconsin and i own a 2.5 a/c with a 6spd and the only time i have ever had a clutch pedal go to the floor is when the fluid has been bled out. mind you to bleed the air out of the new clutch system is a B****!!!, i had to do it on my own. But i have never run across a customer with your problem though.

yea could be a sheared/stretched clutch cable, leaky/defective clutch master or slave cylinders, air in the hydraulic line.....

I had the same problem with my 6MT maxima 04, but the problem is I could never replicate the problem, I always went away...but it came back at the worst times!
