Yes,

Master and Slave Cylinders should be checked/changed.

This is probably 99.5% of the time you have a moisture/or air pocket in the lines.

1. You can easily bleed the Clutch fluid. Have a friend Sit in the driver seat while you're under the car at the Bleeder bolt.

2. Losen the bolt and have the friend step on the clutch.

3. Usually air or Foam will squirt out.

4. When liquid squirts out, your air bubble may be dissipated.

5. Tighten the bolt and add more Clutch fluid.

6. Have a 3rd person feeding in new fluid until the entire system is flushed.

****DO you have any leaks? Maybe you're losing pressure somewhere in the lines**

I'd suggest changing the Master and slave if you've never done so.It would be a nice maintanence anyhoo.

NOTE: My buddy had an S14 and this is still happening.

I found the Problem. His master cylinders cap is lose and moisture over the years and "Car washes" has gotten in it.

Yes, or it could be a line leak and there is no fluid in the system even with a functioning slave and master actuator. Start by checking the fluid level, then check the components and hydraulic lines.
