The clutch pedal on my 95 won't spring back up after it is pressed in. I bled the clutch to see if that was the problem and it wasn't. While under the car I moved the clutch fork back and forth to see if there was some play, and I can push the fork forward and have the pedal pop back up. For some reason there is no pressure to push it back up on its own. The problem wasn't too noticeable witht the SPEC stage 2 in it, but after having to go with an Autozone Dynopack on short notice(8 hours) the problem feels worse. Any idea on why the clutch isn't poping back up?

check your slave and master cylinders.it is possible that one or the other could have failed andlost pressure

I had a very similar problem in my 92 240.I fixed it after replacing the slave cylinder (which you may or may not have to do) and adjusting the pedal its self. There may be an adjustment nut behind the pedal. I fixed this by giving the pedal more travel to create more pressure. I just fiddled with it until it was not too stiff and would spring back up. Simple, but it worked for me ;)

you may have a pressure plate failure. it is what pushes the clutch fork back once the pedal is released. you may also have a broken pivot inside the bellhousing behind the clutch fork. either way its likely inside the beel housing area.

It's a brand new clutch, and the clutch pedal is adjusted properly, it comes all the way up even with the brake pedal, and there's about a quarter of an inch of play before the pedal actualy starts pushing on the master cyclinder pin.

Is the clutch fork supposed to move left to right across the opening, or only pivot like a see-saw?

only pivot like a see-saw. if its moving to the sides of the opening your pivot is broke. it is the center point of the"see-saw"
