Ok, so it's like -20 celcuis here, and when I move my car anywhere, the clutch pedal comes up enough to engage the clutch, but sticks there, and does not come all of the up. I have to push it up with my foot to make it come all the way up. I was wondering if anyone else had this problem (was happening even at 5 degrees celcius), what would cause this? I've noticed before it seemed kind of soft, but I figure that could be because it is a brand new clutch moves smoothly. So what could I do to fix this? Thanks

Yikes -20C? I'd probably suggest warming up your engine first before trying to move it around. That should help alleviate some of that.

Try lubricating pedal with WD40 or white lithium grease and check your clutch fluid level. I would also bleed the clutch line.

okay, where should I lubricate it? like the spring that pulls it back up? I thought maybe bending that spring a little to make it tighter, because my clutch pedal being loose really bothers me.

It sounds like your clutch has started to wear. What you need to is crawl up underneith the dash and check to see if your clutch pedal is adjusted or not. At the top of the clutch pedal, you will see a yellow/goldish fork with a pin going through it. This connects your master cylinder to your clutch pedal. At the end of the fork itself that wraps around the clutch pedal bar, you will see a rod thats threaded on the end. If any of the threads are sticking up past the fork, that means you have room to adjust your clutch back out.

If you do, take your master cylinder all the way loose. You can get it to where you dont even have to take off the nuts, just enough so you can releave the tension on that rod. Take out the pin that connects the fork to the clutch pedal. There is a little brass bushing that goes between the pin and the hole where the pin slips through the clutch pedal, make sure you dont lose it. At this point you can push the clutch pedal forward all the way and push the rod/fork back and down so its out of the way of the clutch pedal. Now you can turn the fork farther out on the threaded rod to adjust your clutch pedal. Reassemble, put a little grease on the inside of the brass bushing, and you should be good to go.

okay, well I went under my dash, and I messed withthe clutch pedal hieght adjustment, as I could not find this fork, I moved the clutch pedal down a little, now it seems to work well, it comes all the way up and is very smooth. It's only been about -5 celcius here lately, so I cant really tell in cold weather, I'll have to wait and try it when it is colder out. It so much nicer to drive now, I forgot how fun it was to have a clutch pedal that works properly
