I installed a new clutch master cylinder in my 1990 240sx and now the peddal stays down. I bench bleed it before that though. Does the hole system need to be bleed now? Not sure what to do next.

Appreciate any help

Just bleed until you can't take it anymore. Yes the whole system should be bled.

Also since you have a s13 there's a damper box. The hardline runs from the MC > damper box > SC. Remove that box and make it MC > SC. Then bleed the whole system.

have some one push the pedal while your under car and see if the slave cylinder moves with pedal. if not that has to be bleed, and if still not working that could be bad now happened to me.

I remembered I had a vacuum bleeder so I bleed the system from the slave cylinder. I never got all the bubbles out, but the pedal is better and the car is drivable.

I'm considering removing the damper box and bleeding the system again to get things right.

Thanks for your replies.
