Searched but found nothing on this topic... how can I fix the squeaking on my clutch pedal? It's damn annoying. I already lubed up the components that moves on the pedal assembly, but that didn't help at all.

I would love to know the answer for this too. That is so damn annoying and it happens to my car constantly.

Every 2-3 months I spray WD40 behind the pedal (lots of it making sure I catch any drip with a rag not my carpet) "fixes" my squeek temporarily .

i have this problem too .... it drives me crazy when i don't have music on but i rarely don't have it on..... just like 240from CANADAtoTexas said u should spray some WD40 on the moving parts... and it should work.... i have already had to do it once but not it started to squeek again the last couple of days.... u should try to lube the moving parts with something that doen't go away like WD40..... i gotta lube my today cause it's getten really annoying.....:angryfire

guys, its 2 bushings and a spring thats located behind the clutch pedal itself. I called up Nissan, you gotta buy all three parts together, they actually come in one package. Its about $25 Canadian, not a big hit, but I hear its a PITA to install. Nissan wanted $130 for install, i told em to suck it! Perhaps I'll do the work and a write up and post, but........

I've been lubing the rear pedal, spring and bushings, with RONSON'S lubricant. Don't use wd-40, its not really a lube, ronsons is great, lube the pedal real good every 2-3 months, but I think when I take my car in for a clutch swap (very soon) I'll have them replace the bearings.

hope that helps, if anyone does the work, please contact me, I've heard the spring is the whole biatch in the process.

have a great weekend

I figured some grease or something would work better than a lube on those, maybe last longer, but what do i know..

use ronson if you don't want to replace those parts, trust me, it will come in handy for more than just your clutch pedal too. Ever lube your egr valave?

lubing your EGR valave? It sounds personal to me. I had a squeak that was caused by a broken/missing plastic bushing between the return spring and the bracket it sat in. hasn't made a peep since- about $1 from nissan.

...use lithium grease on ityes, the bushing and stuff is a pita to install I have heard, you have to deal with the spring on the clutch pedal...which would not be too easy for a weakling such as myself. So instead I just spray down where the spring contacts the pedal whenever it starts to act up (every 4 months or so)
