I recently bought another 240sx ($800!) its a 5 speed with a strong ka24e.

My question is that in traffic when im in first gear waiting, you can feel the clutch pedal sink to the floor, but I remedy this situation by either pumping the clutch a couple of times or kicking it up.

Is this a clutch master cylinder problem?

any help appreciated!

(will post pics in general soon!)

thanks!

sounds like clutch/slave problem or air in the line.

try bleeding it. if that doesn't work try a new slave. if that doesn't work try a new master.

yeah might as well change the clutch line and ditch the damper loop.
