clutch pedal problem

my clutch pedal on the 240sx sometime gets stuck and i have to manually pull it out to it's original position with my foot ( kinda wack) my friend told meeh it's the clutch release spring that i need to replace...is this true...cuz i can't go into gear sometime...it get stuck like half way up...it's like old hehe and can't get up. thankz

check your slave and master for a leak. sounds more like you have air in your hydrolics.

Try the little plastic bushing on the clutch pedal where it pivots. My car had that exact same problem and that bushing was the culprit.
