clutch pedal problem

I'm new to this forum, and new to my G. I have a question for those of you who have had your cars for sometime now. I have a 03 sedan 6 speed, and I swear there is something wrong with the clutch or pedal. My trans does make some high pitched humming sounds, it goes away when I push the clutch in. My problem is really with the pedal I think, it is WAY WAY stiff. I have a 93 Mazda RX-7 with a racing clutch and it is so much easier to push then this pedal. What Im wondering is, is this common? Has anyone else expirienced anything like this? This pedal is so stiff I swear it is like pushing in a cable clutch.

High pitched humming...thats a new one. Now are you sure you're not hearing the flywheel? The G35 manual trans is noisy (kinda sounds like a metal rattle). As far as the stiff clutch pedal, that's also a new one...Have you tried another G35 clutch to see if it was the same?

Sounds weird... before he looks at the mechanical aspect of things and starts taking things apart... maybe he should change his fluid (your whole Turkey baster idea Joe) and adjust the clutch (your other idea)

So... that is where I would start... unless Infinitech chimes in and knows exactly what it is.

When i first bought my car, I thought the pedal was stiff as a mofo. Took some time to get used to, now I have no problem with it.

I think you just need to get used to it.

As far as the trans noise, that's normal too. Alot of G's make some noise until you press the pedal.

I wasn't to sure about the noise, thats why I asked. I do however feel that the clutch pedal is way too stiff. Im going to mess with my friends on thursday and see if his is as stiff as mine.
